The Eastern Visayas Mail, or EV Mail, as it is popularly known, is a regional newsweekly based in Ormoc City. It is published by Lalaine Marcos-Jimenea, who is ably assisted in the job by her partner for life, Jose Sanro C. Jimenea. The hard copy of the EV Mail newspaper hits the streets every Tuesday. It has the largest circulation in the city and carries a variety of news on its news pages. Aside from the news page, the paper has columnists who are respected members of the community. It also sports the EV Mail Lifestyle 2.0, a subsection of the paper which is edited by Ken Enecio. The page lends a different dimension to the paper with its magazine type approach.
